As you wake upon your pillow,
I tempt a bashful stare,
With a blossomed heart of contentment
Your vision holds like a snare.
With the Sun glistening through the linen curtains,
the mist tendrils begin to lift and rise,
It's warmth encapsulates the room,
and places a ray upon your eyes,
Waking with the world that you inhabit,
you stretch and roar in place,
Even in the morning you smell like an angel
with a sultry fragrance filled with grace.
I can now go on, my task is done,
completeness fills my soul,
I've seen my lover rise today,
I am happy and I am whole.
